On July 22, with the completion of the 26,500 joint welding of the fixed flash welding of the base, the tenth branch of the China Railway East Railway Project has completed a total of 688 kilometers of long rail welding (344 track laying kilometers), completing 50% of the long rail welding task ahead of schedule.
The long rail welding started from the official production on October 1, 2023, and lasted less than 10 months. In order to ensure the smooth start of welding, in the early stage of the production line equipment installation, the ten division welding rail team and the manufacturer's guidance staff carefully prepared, meticulous, advanced training, adhering to the concept of "efficient production, quality" in the welding process, with superb welding technology, careful site management to face many challenges, to ensure the orderly progress of the entire welding rail factory work. All welded joints are tested by an independent third party and 100% qualified.
The successful completion of more than half of the 500-meter long rail welding task will accumulate experience for the early completion of the whole rail welding task, create a strong backing for the team to continue to steadily promote the work, and also lay a solid foundation for the high-quality delivery of the track engineering of the East Railway project.
