Urban Rail Transit Project
Guangzhou Metro Line 22 First Phase
On March 31, the first phase of Guangzhou Metro Line 22 (Panyu Square-Chentougang) was opened for operation.

Number of Stations Built: 6
Project Overview: Line 22 is 30.8 kilometers long in total, all underground, with a total of 8 stations, including 4 transfer stations. It is positioned as the South Station Express Line and serves as a 160 km/h subway urban express line. Upon full opening, it will establish rapid rail transit connections between Nansha, Panyu, Liwan, and Guangzhou South Station, enhancing the comprehensive transportation hub function of Guangzhou South Station. As an urban express line, it also plays an important role in connecting the two major hubs of Guangzhou South and Baietan. The first phase of Line 22 starts from Chentougang in the west and extends to Panyu Square in the east, with a total length of 18.2 kilometers and 4 stations, all underground.

Guiyang Urban Rapid Railway Loop
According to news from the 12306 railway ticket-selling official website on March 29, the Guiyang Urban Rapid Railway Loop will carry passengers on March 30, marking Guiyang as the first provincial capital city in China to have a "ring"-shaped urban rapid railway.

Project Overview: The Guiyang Urban Ring Rapid Railway is approximately 113 kilometers long in total and is a national double-track electrified railway. Among them, the Southwest Ring Line is a newly built line with a total length of about 83 kilometers. Upon opening, it will connect with the previously opened existing lines to form a complete Guiyang Urban Rapid Railway Loop. The Guiyang Urban Rapid Railway Loop connects a total of 17 stations. Among them, there are 3 stations on the Northeast Ring Line and 14 stations on the Southwest Ring Line.

Chongqing Metro Line 6 East Extension
The construction of the Chongqing Metro Line 6 East Extension started on March 28, 2022.

Total Distance: 6.79 kilometers

Project Overview: The Chongqing Metro Line 6 East Extension is located in Guangyangwan Smart Eco-city. The line starts from Chongqing East Station and ends at the existing Liujiaping Station, with a total length of 6.79 kilometers and 4 stations. There are two transfer stations: Chongqing East Station, which will transfer with the planned Lines 8, 24, and 27, and Liujiaping Station, which will transfer with the planned Line 20.

E’Shang Railway
On March 15, the E’Shang Railway, a key railway project planned for the "14th Five-Year Plan" period in Otog Front Banner, started construction.
Total Investment: 2.872 billion yuan
Total Distance: 103 kilometers
Project Overview: This railway is a Class I national single-track electrified railway. The main line is 103 kilometers long in total, with a total investment of 2.872 billion yuan. According to the approval of land use in advance, construction of the "S216 Provincial Highway Bridge," a key controlled project of the E’Shang Railway, has begun. Upon completion, this project will be of great significance in promoting regional economic development, improving the railway network framework of Otog Front Banner, and constructing a three-dimensional transportation system for the entire banner.
